Former Disney Channel star Ronni Hawk ‘arrested for domestic violence against boyfriend’

Former Disney Channel star Ronni Hawk was reportedly arrested and booked on one felony count of corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant at LAPD Van Nuys Station on Friday morning.

The Florida-born 20-year-old’s boyfriend – 21-year-old snowboarder Miles Fallon – had ‘visible injuries including scratches’ when police arrived at their Los Angeles home, according to TMZ.

Hawk’s bail was set at $100K following the verbal argument, which clearly turned physical.

She is expected to appear in court for the charges on December 11 2020.

Things looked much better for the couple when Ronni and Miles shared some happy couples photos on Instagram back on July 19.

It appears the couple have been dating for over a year.

Ronni (born Veronica) originally found fame playing self-absorbed eldest sister Rachael Diaz in Disney Channel sitcom Stuck in the Middle, which ended in 2018 after three seasons.

She appeared in the family show alongside Joe Nieves, Cerina Vincent, Kayla Maisonet, Jenna Ortega, Isaak Presley, Nicolas Bechtel, Malachi Barton, and Ariana Greenblatt.

Lately, the former Donald Trump supporter – who boasts 1.1M social media followers – has been doing paid partnerships with brands like Wanderlust Swim and Sardinian swimwear line La Revêche.

Ronni  – who calls herself a ‘social activist’ in her Twitter bio – made headlines back in 2018 after pro-Trump tweets from the star were unearthed by fans.

She also had used Twitter to criticize people protesting gun violence after the Parkland shooting.

‘Listennnnn y’all. Yes, this shooting was a horrific, tragic event but yelling at our government WILL NOT HELP US!!!!

Another pro-gun tweet read: ‘Does anyone remember when alcohol was banned then everyone started unground [sic] selling, guns will be the same; WE need to protect ourselves.’

Fans of her show On My Block called for her to be written off the show, which actually focuses on young people of color in a low-income neighborhood affected by gun violence.

She later issued an apology, explaining that she was not ‘informed enough’ and had been ‘posting blindly.’

‘To be honest, I’m nervous to speak up knowing whatever I write at this point won’y make everyone happy.

‘The truth is that I was 16 years old when I put that post out there and at 18, I know know that I am not informed enough on several different subjects to be posting blindly.’

‘What I do know, is that being on this show has been one of the most special things in my life and I do not take it for granted. I learned to much from this show – about injustices that take place in this world and that being silent is just as bad as doing nothing.’

Ronni’s On My Block character Olivia only appears in the first season of the show.

Before the COVID-19 crisis, Hawk wrapped her role as armed college student Tomi Shaw in Kevin M. White’s upcoming drama, Girl with a Gun.

The Louisiana-set film also features Jeremy London, Bill Martin Williams, Jaynee-Lynne Kinchen, and Rachel G. Whittle.

In February, Hawk guest-starred in two episodes of The CW’s Legacies and she served video vixen duties for Lukas Graham’s music video Lie last year.
