Your LG Smart TV is getting a new appearance and even more FREE programming.
KOREAN TV PRODUCER LG is adding 300 new channels to its LG Channels streaming service, as well as a new look.
LG Channels users are in for a treat this week, as the popular free streaming service gets yet another upgrade, giving viewers even more amazing content to select from.
The platform is getting around 300 additional channels, bringing the total to 1,900. There’s something for everyone in the mix, with new movies, sports, music, and news from Rakuten Viki, OnDemandChina, BABY SHARK TV, and Kids Pang TV among the offerings. Many people will enjoy an extra helping of Korean channels, including premium movie channel NEW K.MOVIES, as Korean entertainment becomes more popular.
LG Channels was only introduced two years ago, yet it has already more than doubled its viewership. It’s no surprise, given the diverse content accessible on its digital platform, which includes CSBN, Bloomberg, Filmhub, and Fuse, in addition to the regular broadcast and cable programming.
LG has also given its televisions a new style that makes the service more intuitive and simple to use. There’s also a brand-new content recommendation system, similar to Netflix, that analyzes your viewing patterns to recommend even more fantastic shows from the library. No more sifting through thousands of episodes; instead, sit back and let the shows that are suitable for you be given to you.
Viewing will be made more easier later this year when LG releases a new smartphone app that will allow you to watch the material as well. Pluto TV will be launching additional 100 channels later this year, according to the business. Pluto TV Action, Masterchef, Pluto TV Cinema, Pluto TV Telenovelas, and Pluto TV Anime will be among the local and worldwide programming available on these channels, which will cater to a wide range of interests and ages.
The announcement comes after Rakuten TV launched 90 free channels to the service in April of this year. FilmRise, Real Stories, Timeline, and the LEGO channel were among the channels that were available.
Don’t have an LG television? It’s possible that you won’t have to miss out. LG Channels will be available on more than 30 smart TV brands, including Motorola, JVC, Polaroid, and MASTER-G, in addition to LG’s own smart TVs.
