Your Apple Watch could soon be obsolete, since the company’s most significant upgrade could arrive as early as tomorrow.

The clock is ticking until Apple unveils its next wave of products, and rumors abound that the Apple Watch will receive its most significant update in years.

Since its release over seven years ago, the Apple Watch has become the wearable to beat, with millions of users relying on it to track their daily activity, respond to messages, and even monitor their heart health directly from their wrists. The current Series 6 can even see how much oxygen is moving through your blood and provide a quick ECG without you having to go near your doctor’s office.

The Apple Watch is available from £197 at Currys, with buyers able to buy it now and pay later.

Although there have been several improvements, the appearance of this technological timepiece has remained almost unchanged.

Yes, the screen has grown in size, and Apple has introduced a few new colors, but the curved glass finish and square face are nearly identical to the initial generation, which was unveiled to the public at Apple’s September 2014 presentation.

But that could be about to change, as Apple is rumored to be working on a completely revamped and redesigned wearable that we’re thinking could be called the Apple Watch Series 7.

Although nothing has been confirmed, there has been much conjecture that the US company is ditching the gentle curves in favor of a more angular form.

Last year’s iPhone likewise discarded the softer design in favor of an industrial-looking finish with considerably sharper and defined edges, so this would make sense.

Renders shared online have even given fans a sneak peek at how this update will look, with the screen looking to be moved even closer to the case’s edge, allowing for more content.

Another rumored change is the addition of more fruity colors to the Apple Watch collection.

This smartphone is currently available in Silver, Gold, Blue, and PRODUCT (RED), but Apple may introduce a slew of new colors tomorrow evening.

This would, once again, fit in with Apple’s recent iMac announcement, as this desktop computer is now available. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
