With his Kylian Mbappe transfer tease, Lionel Messi has Liverpool fans yearning.

Kylian Mbappe’s future is uncertain, as the Frenchman has yet to sign a contract with PSG, and teammate Lionel Messi has hinted that Real Madrid is not the only option for the striker.

Liverpool fans are dreaming after Lionel Messi said that Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe may end up in England.

Last summer, the 22-year-old forward was extensively linked with a move to Real Madrid, but the Spanish giants reportedly had two proposals rejected by PSG, one of which was around £137 million.

However, the fast-paced star’s contract expires next summer, and the Frenchman has yet to agree to a new contract, fueling suspicion that his future lay elsewhere.

And now, Messi, who joined PSG on a free transfer in the summer, has dropped a transfer hint that could tempt rival clubs to pursue the generational talent.

When asked about Mbappe’s future by Marca, Messi admitted that he had no idea and that England might be a possibility.

“The reality is, I don’t know,” he admitted.

“Only he knows what’s going on in his thoughts and what he’ll do.

“All I can say is that I’m glad he’s staying here this year.”

“He is a critical player for us and our quest to achieve our goals.” He is completely focused on our objectives.

“After that, he’ll figure out what he’ll do when the season is finished.” To be honest, I have no idea what will happen.

“However, he is fluent in all languages: Spanish, English, and, of course, French.”

Mbappe’s ability to communicate in English is nothing new, but the Argentine may have hinted at Premier League clubs’ interest.

Following their title-winning 201920 season, Liverpool were connected with Mbappe, but he chose to stay in France.

Since joining PSG in 2017, the Parisian-born winger has scored a total of 139 goals for the club.

His reputation as one of the best players in the world continues to soar, leaving Liverpool fans stunned by the prospect of him playing at Anfield.
