Whatsapp isn’t working – when will it work again? The most recent status update.

WHATSAPP, Instagram, and Facebook have all crashed, leaving users unable to communicate. So, what do we know about the WhatsApp outage so far? When will it be available again? WhatsApp users have been unable to send or receive messages as the popular messaging app, along with Facebook and Instagram, has experienced major disruptions.

The source of the outage across these four major social networking apps has yet to be determined, although reports of disruptions began approximately 4:44 p.m. today.

WhatsApp tweeted at 5:16 p.m., saying: “We’re aware that some people are having problems using WhatsApp right now. We’re attempting to restore normalcy and will provide an update as soon as possible. Thank you for being so patient!” WhatsApp users are unable to send or receive messages or make phone calls.

On March 20, 2021, WhatsApp customers faced widespread disruptions.

In March, the majority of WhatsApp users in the United Kingdom experienced a two-hour outage.

More than 70,000 users have reported WhatsApp outages to Downdetector.co.uk by 5 p.m. today afternoon.

The outages are occurring all across the world, according to ABC America, with’millions’ of users in the United States facing the same problems.

The problem, according to AppleInsider, is a ‘DNS problem,’ which stands for Domain Name System, but this has yet to be validated.

According to some sources, this could be the ‘largest hack in history.’

Following Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen disclosing her name earlier today, some have questioned the timing of this outage.

In 2014, Facebook paid $21.8 billion for WhatsApp, and in 2012, it paid $1 billion for Instagram.

Facebook tweeted at 5:22 p.m. BST: “We’re aware that some users are having difficulty using our applications and services. We’re working hard to restore normalcy as soon as possible, and we apologize for any trouble this has caused.” At 5:35 p.m., the Instagram Communications Twitter account tweeted: “Instagram and friends are having some troubles right now, and you might be having trouble utilizing them. Please bear with us; we’re working on it! #instagramdown”
