Whatsapp, Facebook, and Instagram are all down: This is the second significant outage of the year for users.
WHATSAPP, FACEBOOK, and INSTAGRAM are all down, affecting hundreds of millions of people – but this isn’t the first time it’s occurred.
A 505 error message has been reported on Facebook, and the independent tracking website Down Detector has been inundated with reports. However, this isn’t the first time all three titans have been down this year. All three were down in March, with the majority of users reporting difficulty with connection, sending or receiving messages, and 2% of complaints of people unable to log in.
All of the apps were down globally, according to Down Detector, and Twitter users from all around the world complained about the outage.
More than 125,000 Instagram users reported problems with the message ‘5xx Server Error.’
More than 70,000 users have reported problems with Whatsapp, with messages simply failing to send.
In a number of nations, the hashtags #InstagramDown and #Whatsapp trended.
The outage lasted around two hours, and it’s still unknown what caused it.
It’s unclear what’s causing the huge issue right now, but all three platforms have issued comments indicating that they’re working to fix it.
“We’re aware that some people are having troubles with WhatApp right now,” WhatsApp said.
We’re attempting to restore normalcy and will provide an update as soon as possible.
“I appreciate your patience!”
“We’re aware that some individuals are having problems accessing the Facebook app,” Facebook wrote.
“We’re working hard to restore normalcy as soon as possible, and we apologize for any trouble this has caused.”
“Instagram and friends are having some troubles right now, and you may be having issues utilizing them,” Instagram warned.
“Be patient with us; we’re working on it!”
