John Cena, an American professional wrestler of renowned WWE, turned Hollywood actor, reveals being a fan of the most popular South-Korean pop group BTS. In an interview on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, the actor reacts to him being an avid fan of the group.
Not so surprisingly, fans already collected pictures of him inspired by various ‘BTS albums.’ Here’s how it looks like.
Many artists find K-pop group BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, admirable to suit their taste in music. And famous wrestler John Cena turned out to be one of them.
On Jan., Cena mentioned in an interview on The Late Late Show with James Corden that he is a huge fan of the group when it comes to their rapping, and music style.
On Sept. 30, he reiterated this statement when asked by TV host Jimmy Fallon. Cena explains BTS is so admirable for his taste, especially when they “use sick a** boombap beats and they actually rap, so like yeah I kinda like this is great.”
“They advocate self love. They advocate don’t be afraid of failure. They advocate that you are enough. They kinda are trying to shatter all the stereotypical difficulties and uncomfortable situations that we go through, and they’re catering to an audience that is living that. Young people,” said him.
He also finds the group’s fanbase called ‘ARMY’ very inspiring regarding philanthropic causes like donating to the recent ‘Black Lives Matter’ protest.
As John Cena reveals his hidden desire for the K-pop group, fans of the group also found this fandom as cool that it is deemed ‘necessary’ to make ‘John Cena as BTS albums’ thread on Twitter. And it’s freaking hilarious, by the way.
It’s as if the BTS albums were inspired by John Cena’s outfits or vice versa.
