Snapchat is crashing: iPhone users are being asked to follow updated instructions to avoid the crash fault.
Thousands of SNAPCHAT users have reported problems with the iPhone version of the famous selfie app, with the iOS app not working and continually closing down. Although the problem has been resolved, iPhone owners must now follow new instructions.
The technical issues that caused thousands of people to be unable to access Snapchat yesterday have been resolved overnight, and full service has been restored. Even though the app crash has been fixed, all iPhone users will continue to be affected since they will need to download the new version of the app to cure the fault. To do so manually, open the Apple App Store app and tap your profile image in the upper right-hand corner. Tap Update on Snapchat after scrolling down to app updates. “The issue has been resolved,” Snapchat announced in a Twitter message. If you’re still having issues, go to the App Store and manually upgrade to version 184.108.40.206.” Today, a large number of Snapchat users have reported issues with the iPhone app for the extremely popular social network, which keeps closing down and isn’t functioning properly. Snapchat users have experienced difficulty sending and receiving snaps, as well as refreshing the app, according to downdetector.com.
While on Twitter, Snapchat users have been complaining about issues opening the app, with the iPhone version purportedly having major teething issues today.
