Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was scheduled to deploy within the PlayStation 5’s launch window, but that phrase is a mysterious one these days – especially during a global pandemic. Nevertheless, the Insomniac Games developed exclusive does appear to be near, as one eagle-eyed Twitter user noticed that the title has been rated for release in Taiwan.
We’ve been able to corroborate that both the core game and a Digital Deluxe Edition have now been classified for the country. While this isn’t necessarily confirmation of an imminent release, it does mean that we should at least learn more about Sony’s plans for the project in the not-too distant future.
We recently conducted a poll on the site, and many of you predicted that the platformer would arrive around May or June, which seems feasible based on this new information. We wouldn’t be surprised to see a new trailer soon, perhaps with pre-orders going live on the PlayStation Store around the same time. Watch this space.
