Google has outlawed nine popular Android apps! It’s critical that you delete them from your phone right now.

GOOGLE has just blocked another nine dangerous apps detected in the Google Play Store, but not before millions of people had downloaded them. It’s now critical for all users to ensure they don’t have them on their devices because they could expose passwords.

Google has banned nine extremely popular apps from its Play Store, but they may still be lying in plain sight on your smartphone. This latest set of apps was discovered trying to steal Facebook user names and passwords using concealed harmful code.

Hackers are eager to obtain these social media credentials because many users use the same email address and password for many accounts, making them vulnerable to large-scale attacks.

This current attack was clever in that, after downloading the fully functional apps from the Play Store, unwary users were given the option of turning off bothersome advertisements by just going into their Facebook accounts.

Users who consented and clicked the log in button were redirected to the normal social network login page. However, some malicious software operating in the background was able to steal the credentials as they were being typed in.

The problem was discovered by the Dr. Web team, who claim that the virus was distributed as “harmless” software and was installed more than 5,856,010 times.

Part of these dangerous programs were removed by Google after Doctor Web’s specialists reported them to the company. Unfortunately, this does not mean that anyone who downloaded them is secure, as they will remain on devices until manually erased.

The following is a complete list of applications that users should uninstall right away.

• – There have been over 5.8 million downloads

• – There have been over 500,000 downloads.

• – There have been over 100,000 downloads

“We encourage that Android device owners install programs only from known and trusted developers, as well as pay attention to other user reviews,” Dr. Web noted in a blog post. Although the reviews cannot guarantee that the apps are completely safe, they can alert you to potential dangers.
