Facebook will change the way you make video calls to Whatsapp

The U.S. company, Facebook, reported that it plans to include greater security in video calls from its platform to Whatsapp.

As announced by the CEO of the company, Mark Zuckerberg, during the Facebook Developers Conference that has taken place in San Francisco, video calls made with Whatsapp through Portal will be protected with end-to-end encryption.

“Now you can be sure that when you talk to your friends and family, it’s all between you,” said Zuckerberg.

This device, until now only available in the U.S., will go on sale from June in Canada and will arrive in Europe in the fall, added the CEO of Facebook.

For now, the starting price for Europe is unknown for this device, which will also incorporate other tools such as Facebook Live, to be able to make live broadcasts, or ‘SuperFrame’, which will show the Facebook photos preferred by the user. It also has the voice assistant Alexa from Amazon.
