Destruction AllStars is a game full of crashes. Most of them are the kind you’d expect, but the PlayStation 5 exclusive has been prone to the odd hiccup here and there. Fortunately, developer Lucid Games appears to be working overtime to improve its vehicle-wrecking multiplayer title, as it’s just released another patch.

Update version 1.2.3 is live right now on PS5, and it looks like a pretty solid maintenance patch that fixes some common problems. In a Twitter thread, the studio outlines the major points addressed by the update.

Here’s all the notes:
Weekly Reset time has been set to Wednesday 3pm UTC
Weekly Challenges now award AllStar Coins instead of XP
XP rewards for Daily Challenges have been increased from 3k to 25k
Fixed several issues preventing successful matchmaking
Reduced the frequency of parties being split into different games at the end of a match
Fixed an instance of the UI incorrectly reverting player level
Fixed several server crashes relating to Gridfall
Fixed several client crashes
Improved some error message descriptions
So, essentially the game should now be much more reliable. Plus, if you beat one of the weekly challenges, you’ll get AllStar Coins rather than XP, which seems like a good shout.
