Call of Duty: Nerfed Warzone DMR 14, but it wasn’t enough.

If you’ve been playing Call of Duty: Warzone in the last few weeks, you’ll know that DMR 14 is a bit teary.

Battle Royale mode is dominated by the weapon that comes from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – so much so that it was nerfed yesterday to create a more even playing field. While recoil was enhanced, headshot damage was decreased, but that was not enough to keep it from being the best weapon in the Warzone.

Reports documented by the Call of Duty Twitter community have piled up over the last 24 hours, showing that the DMR 14 is still an absolute beast in battle. With three rapid-fire shots at a decent range, players are still able to take out enemies, and those damage numbers only increase the closer you get to an enemy.

It was NOT that! A quick snapshot of it is here. At long range, he didn’t get a good one, but the recoil is fine and the damage is still dominant…. Pic.twitter.com/ENJhKTuPMU- January 6, 2021-AverageWarzonePlayerTrying2Ball (@Rob2daP)

It looks like the developer will have to provide another update to further nerf the weapon if this lines up with the data Raven Software has gathered on the backend. The patch yesterday also addressed the Mac-10 by reducing its headshot multiplier, but the MP5 still lies in wait even then.

This used to be the melee weapons king and offered a fantastic alternative.
