According to TechCrunch, when Reddit announced its acquisition of Dubsmash, it was said that the company’s platform and brand will be retained.

Reddit also announced the launch of a new video feature developed by Dubsmash’s team as part of the announcement. The platform’s built-in camera will now have the ability to modify recording rates and set a timer.

According to Engadget, Reddit added a feed feature in August that allows users to upvote or downvote videos, comment on them, give the author an award, or share the video.
