Victor Orta, the manager of Leeds United, could complete four transfers before the deadline.
Leeds United have failed to win in the Premier League this season.
Leeds United have had a poor start to the current Premier League season and are yet to win a game. Marcelo Bielsa’s side had drews against Everton and Burnley after a 5-1 thrashing at Manchester United on the opening weekend of the season.
Leeds manager Victor Orta will be frantically working with Bielsa for late reinforcements before the summer transfer window closes on Tuesday at 11 p.m.
Leeds United returned to the Premier League for the first time since 2004, and Bielsa guided the Yorkshire team to a ninth-place finish.
The manager has demonstrated his ability to deliver results, and if Leeds can add some more talented players, he will be sure of another successful season at Elland Road.
Leeds United might complete four moves on transfer deadline day, according to Express Sport.
On Monday, a deal to bring Daniel James to Elland Road appeared to be moving forward, and talks between Leeds and Manchester United are understood to be ongoing.
James started United’s win over Wolves on Sunday, but if he stays at Old Trafford, he is unlikely to be a regular starter.
Man United, who are poised to welcome Cristiano Ronaldo back to the club this week, have a plenty of offensive options, and James will be competing for a starting spot alongside the likes of Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford.
Leeds attempted to sign the 23-year-old on loan in 2019 and are now believed to be in the process of negotiating personal terms to bring him to the club on a permanent basis.
This summer, Leeds have been linked with Uruguayan international Nahitan Nandez, and they could be interested in a last-minute deal.
Nandez has been a great performer for Cagliari this season, but he appears to want out of the Serie A club this summer.
The 25-year-old may play in the center of the pitch alongside England international Kalvin Phillips for Leeds, but he can also play on the right.
Nandez has 41 caps for his country and has been linked with Tottenham and Napoli in the summer transfer window.
