Untelevised Golden Globes 2022: ‘Ted Lasso’ Wins for Apple TV(plus)

At the 2022 Golden Globes, ‘Ted Lasso’ wins for Apple TV(plus) in an untelevised ceremony.

This past weekend, Ted Lasso won yet another Golden Globe.

On Sunday, the 79th annual Golden Globe Awards were held, with actor Jason Sudeikis winning Best Actor in a Television Series — Musical or Comedy — for his role in Ted Lasso.

Sudeikis’ performance as the title character earned him an Emmy Award a few months ago.

The Golden Globe Awards were not broadcast this year due to NBC’s boycott of the event in support of a more diverse membership in the HFPA.

Sudeikis has won the Golden Globe Award for the second year running.

His character (Lasso) is a part-time college football coach from Kansas who is hired to coach an English professional soccer team.

Despite having no prior soccer experience, Ted uses his positive energy to inspire AFC Richmond to believe in themselves both on and off the field.

“That’s insane.

When Sudeikis won the Golden Globe last year, he said, “Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press.”

“For me, this is the coolest thing that a group of, you know, nuts has done….

That’s particularly insane.

OK, let’s see.

Let’s go.

Wow, this is incredible.

This is what I’m going to say.

This is what I’m going to say:

I’d like to express my gratitude to everyone involved with the show.

Leo Tolstoy’s The Three Questions was the book I read to my son Otis.

‘When is the best time to do things?’ ‘What is the right thing to do?’ And then, ‘Who is the most important one?’ That last question, ‘Who is the most important one?’ is like, whoever the person you’re with.

So I reject the notion of being the best actor because, in my opinion, the best actor is the person with whom you’re acting.”

Ted Lasso is available to watch on Apple TV(plus) for two seasons.

The third season of the show is set to begin filming soon, with an expected summer premiere.

But, as Season 3 begins, the most pressing question is whether or not this will be the final season as previously stated.

“It makes me feel like a real coach when I have to tell people they can’t watch season 4 while we’re in the middle of season 3,” Sudeikis told Entertainment…
