Tottenham may be turned off by Adama Traore’s desire to launch a deadline-day transfer bid.

Tottenham’s interest in Adama Traore is said to be strong, although the north Londoners may be turned off.

According to rumours, Wolves forward Adama Traore is hoping for a late approach from Tottenham to sign him before the transfer deadline on Tuesday. Since Nuno Espirito Santo was hired as the club’s new head coach, Traore has been a target for Spurs.

Traore and the Midlands club had a fairly fruitful period together.

Wolves qualified for the Europa League in 2019 thanks to the quick Spain international.

Nuno left the club at the end of last season after a difficult season. Their season was derailed by a series of long-term injuries, and they eventually finished 13th.

Following Spurs’ tumultuous hunt for a permanent successor, the 47-year-old was named as Jose Mourinho’s replacement.

He’s been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where he’d be reunited with Traore. However, no action has yet been taken.

Traore is reportedly waiting for Spurs to make an offer so that a deal can be completed by Tuesday’s 11 p.m. deadline, according to the Mirror.

Despite Wolves’ failure to win a point in games against Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United, the 25-year-old has enjoyed a strong start to the season.

He had a good game against United in the 1-0 defeat, causing several issues for the Red Devils’ back four.

However, the Mirror reports that they may be hesitant to make another offer after a previous one was rejected.

Traore is worth roughly £40 million to Wolves. Spurs offered them a loan deal with a purchase option at the conclusion of the season, but they declined.

Traore would be Spurs’ fifth summer signing. Nuno’s team has already seen some great signings.

Pierluigi Gollini, a goalkeeper, and Cristian Romero, a defender, have both joined on loan from Atalanta in Serie A.

Bryan Gil, a winger, has joined from Sevilla in a £25 million move that also included long-serving midfielder Erik Lamela.

Pape Matar Sarr, a midfielder signed from Metz, has also joined the north Londoners. The 18-year-old has returned to the French club on a season-long loan.

Right-back for Barcelona Spurs have also been linked with a deal for Emerson Royal. “Brinkwire Summary News,” Sky.
