Tottenham makes a final choice on Tanguy Ndombele, which could have an impact on Ruben Neves’ transfer.

This summer, Tanguy Ndombele has been linked with a move away from Tottenham.

Despite both parties wanting to part ways this summer, Tanguy Ndombele seems certain to stay at Tottenham beyond tonight’s transfer deadline.

Ndombele has been omitted from his team’s first three games of the season, fueling suspicion that he would leave north London.

Bayern Munich is reportedly interested in signing the 24-year-old this summer.

Bayern Munich were interested in a swap deal for Ndombele, according to Sky Germany, with Corentin Tolisso moving in the opposite direction.

The German giants were reportedly eager to hand Tottenham the French midfielder in exchange for Ndombele and £17.2 million, but Spurs turned down the deal.

Ndombele is currently stranded in north London, after reportedly telling club officials that he wanted to move during the current transfer window.

Since joining Spurs for £53.8 million from Lyon two years ago, Ndombele has struggled to make an impact in England.

He’s had glimpses of brilliance, but he’s been inconsistent and hasn’t lived up to his obvious promise.

Last season, while Jose Mourinho was in charge, Ndombele forced his way into Jose Mourinho’s thoughts by appearing 33 times in the Premier League.

However, due to concerns about his fitness, he fell out of favor towards the end of the campaign.

Mauricio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho, and Ryan Mason are among the managers who have expressed reservations about the midfielder, with Nuno Espirito Santo the most recent to do so.

Nuno recently stated, “I can’t even think about what happened in the past – I don’t address it out of respect.”

“What I can tell you is that Tanguy is with us and that he works, but we must talk honestly and extract the best out Tanguy – [it]must come from him.

“I don’t want to go any farther, but it needs to come from him,” she says. We’d already had the opportunity to speak, but it had to come from him.

“As I have stated, my role here is to prepare players to play for Tottenham Hotspur, not to convince them to play for Tottenham Hotspur.”

Nuno’s decision on whether or not to give Ndombele another chance remains to be seen. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
