Three Premier League clubs have expressed an interest in signing Yves Bissouma.

The Premier League big-boys were allegedly interested in Yves Bissouma this summer.

Despite continuing with Brighton this summer, Yves Bissouma continues to draw long-term interest from three Premier League big-boys. This summer, the midfielder was connected with a number of clubs, but no deal was completed before the deadline on Tuesday.

Bissouma, who moved to the south coast from Lille for £15 million three years ago, has started the current season well despite the fact that his future is still up in the air.

The 25-year-old shone for his team in back-to-back triumphs over Burnley and Watford to start the season, but he couldn’t prevent Brighton from losing at home to Everton last time out.

Bissouma’s combative midfield mentality has been crucial to Brighton’s development under Graham Potter, with Bissouma appearing in 36 Premier League games last season.

The midfield enforcer appears to be capable of excelling at the highest level of the game, and Brighton did well to keep hold of him this summer, with teams approaching.

Manchester United, Arsenal, and Liverpool, according to the Metro, have long been interested.

When the next transfer window opens in January, the teams may try to entice the Mali international away from Sussex.

Bissouma’s Brighton contract expires in two years, and no official bids for the player were reportedly made before the summer market closed on Tuesday.

Potter was compelled to react to inquiries about the player’s future ahead of the new season.

Potter remarked ahead of his side’s opening-day trip to Burnley, “I’ve been speaking about Yves Bissouma for quite some time and he’s still here.”

“That’s all I have to say about it.” I can’t predict the future, and I have no idea what will happen in the end – that’s the beauty of life and football.

“We have Yves with us. He’s pleased, he’s smiling, he wants to play, he wants to improve his career, and he’s taking strides in that direction.

“He’s our player, and we’ll do everything we can to aid him while he’s still here.”

Ben White said his goodbyes to Brighton this summer, as the centre-back joined Arsenal in a £50 million transfer.

Enock Mwepu, Marc Cucurella, Abdallah Sima, Kjell Scherpen, and Kaoru Mitoma are among the five new faces that have joined the club on the south coast.

The Seagulls are currently ranked seventh in the Premier League. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
