Sven Botman and Diego Carlos are part of Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe’s exciting transfer plan.

NEWCASTLE UNITED are expected to keep on spending after being linked with a number of defenders.

On Friday, Newcastle United completed the high-profile signing of England and Atletico Madrid right-back Kieran Trippier.

The club is reportedly looking to strengthen their defense with more signings, and Eddie Howe has devised an exciting plan to bring Sven Botman and Diego Carlos to the club.

Many in the game hailed Trippier’s £12 million move, saying the Bury-born full-back would bring a wealth of experience and talent to the northeast.

Trippier is by far the most experienced player in Howe’s ranks, having appeared in a Champions League final and a Euro 2020 final, as well as a La Liga winner’s medal.

Despite having the league’s joint-worst defense, the Magpies aren’t done yet, according to reports, as they look to reduce defensive vulnerability.

Botman, a Lille defender, was said to be in talks with the club earlier on Friday, but it became clear that the French club would be tough on the price.

The possibility of signing Sevilla defender Carlos was then mooted, with reports claiming that a deal was on the cards.

Howe, however, has a plan to sign both, according to the.

The Magpies have already conceded 42 league goals in just 19 games, putting them on pace to concede 84 for the first time since Derby County’s 89 in the 2007-08 season.

Their defensive problems could be solved if Botman, one of Europe’s most sought-after young defenders, is brought in alongside the much more experienced Carlos.

The Magpies have also struggled offensively, scoring only 19 goals this season.

Once his defense has been strengthened, Howe will most likely focus on bringing in a forward.

and expects Howe to spend a lot of money in January in order to stay alive.

“The more top-level players they can sign, the better,” Kamara told Express Sport exclusively.

“Build your team around [Allan] Saint-Maximin, who is a fantastic player.”

Find players who can compete with him.

“The first thing Howe must do is stop the goals from entering the net.

Build from the ground up, knowing that if Saint-Maximin is in good shape, he will give you a chance.

“I don’t believe it’s a single player.”
