St Mirren 0 Celtic 4: How the Celtic players rated as they cruise to win in Paisley

0

SCOTT BAIN 6: Had very little to do. Caught some crosses, but that was about it.

JONJOE KENNY 7: Brilliant last-ditch tackle to deny Connolly just before half-time, and kept the St Mirren man quiet all night. Looks a really decent signing.

STEPHEN WELSH 6: Another solid showing until forced off with an ankle injury after being caught late by Obika. Shame for the youngster who has played well in the last few matches.

KRISTOFFER AJER 7: Comfortable at the back and such a threat going forward when he steps out with the ball, using his physicality and pace to storm up the pitch.

GREG TAYLOR 7: Eager as ever down the left, and his endeavour was eventually rewarded as he was taken down by Flynn to earn his side a second-half penalty.

SCOTT BROWN 7: Revitalised captain had another strong showing, breaking up play well and driving his team on from the midfield.

CALLUM MCGREGOR 7: Fortunate to avoid a booking for late challenge on Erhahon, but otherwise very tidy in possession and always backing up the attack.

TOM ROGIC 8: Wonderful turn and trademark finish across Alnwick to give Celtic the lead. At the heart of a lot of good attacking play, and set up the third for Christie.

DAVID TURNBULL 8: Linked the midfield to the attack well. Came to life in attacking areas in second half and got himself on the scoresheet to round off a good night.

ALBIAN AJETI 5: Frustrating evening for the striker, who having been given a reprieve from an SFA diving charge to play, didn’t make the most of his chance.

ODSONNE EDOUARD 8: Missed sitter early in second half, but continued recent upturn in form with another good showing. Some nice touches and no little hunger for the battle, and scored for the fifth match running with well taken penalty.

SUBSTITUTES

RYAN CHRISTIE 7: Massive impact with a goal and an assist for Turnbull.

SHANE DUFFY 3: On for injured Welsh and just the one error, so relatively decent.

PATRYK KLIMALA 3: Plenty of effort.

LEIGH GRIFFITHS 3: No time to make an impact.

MOI ELYOUNOUSSI 3: As above.
