Spurs respond to Manchester United after putting out ‘feelers’ about Harry Kane’s transfer.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been linked with a move to Manchester United ahead of the summer transfer window closing.
According to rumors, Tottenham has told Manchester United that they only want money for Harry Kane rather than a swap agreement. Manchester City are presently the favorites to sign the England international. But that hasn’t deterred Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from attempting a late takeover.
So far this summer, Manchester United has signed three players.
Tom Heaton, the club’s goalkeeper, has joined on a free transfer from Aston Villa, while Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane have joined from Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid, respectively.
However, Tribal Football reports that United are looking for a striker before the transfer market closes on August 31.
They allegedly recently ‘put the feelers out there’ on a possible Kane transfer.
Tottenham, on the other hand, made it obvious that they only wanted money in exchange for letting the England international go, thus the Red Devils are now looking at Luka Jovic instead.
Despite Kane’s desire to leave north London, Daniel Levy is sure that his prized asset will not be permitted to leave the metropolis.

Pep Guardiola is expected to make a move for Kane before the transfer season closes, as he seeks a long-term replacement for Sergio Aguero.
And it’s possible that United will now sign Jovic instead.
Despite his struggles in Spain over the last two years, Solskjaer is said to be a major supporter of the 23-year-old.
United are in talks behind the scenes about a possible transfer after coming close to acquiring Jovic in January 2020 but ultimately opting for Odion Ighalo instead.
