Today’s Tips for Boxing Day: EPL Predictions

Leicester vs Manchester United – Result after the match ends: Draw @ 13/5

What better way than with a clash between 2nd and 3rd in the table to start Boxing Day? Our forecast for a draw doesn’t mean the match is going to be boring. Instead of trying too hard to win it, we think both teams would want to make sure they do not lose the game.

Leicester have 5 wins and 2 defeats in the last 5 games – so a draw is bound to happen. In their last 5 games, Manchester United also have 4 wins and a loss. Interestingly, in away games, 3 of those 4 wins came. We don’t see Manchester United winning a fourth game against a rather robust Leicester defence.

It makes sense to choose a reasonable price that we can get on the range of the draw and still hope for a lot of objectives. What keeps us from having a 3-3 goal show? Oh, nothing.

Arsenal vs Chelsea – BTTS: Yeah @ 3/4

This is not at all a bad price. Arsenal are in bad shape, yes, but there’s no reason to believe they’re not going to score in this game. Out of 5 games, Arsenal lost 4 but scored in 3 of them. They are playing at home and we are very hopeful that the Gunners will be able to hit the net at least once, given the fact that London rivals Chelsea are visiting on Boxing Day.

As for the scoring chances for Chelsea, they have struggled to score against Everton and Tottenham in their last 5 matches and these two teams are above Chelsea in the table. Moreover, at the moment, Arsenal’s defence is a shambles. In their last 5 games, they have allowed a total of 8 goals and have had to face teams such as Burnley and Wolves, who are far from being the gold standard of the league in attacking soccer.

The return is decent and there is certainly good value on the bet.

Newcastle vs Manchester City – half-time result: Man City @ 2/55

We expect Manchester City to win the match reasonably comfortably, but it’s not worth the odds. For this cause, we’re betting on a first half win for People. The only match in the last five in which Manchester City struggled to score a goal was the 0-0 draw against Manchester United in the first half, and the Red Devils are in third position at the moment.

Manchester City will now face an average team with a defence below average and in the first 45 minutes their quick attackers will reach the target.

We’re not concerned about the goal performance of Newcastle, because they’ve only managed to score 17 goals in 13 matches. To make matters worse, so far, Manchester City has only conceded 12 goals (the fewest in the league).

It is worth wagering that they will score before the 15th or 30th minute, depending on the success of the people at the beginning of the game. The chances are likely to be very appealing.

This rounds up our weekend’s soccer predictions.

What are the most popular soccer bets?

This question does not have a straightforward answer. Most people tend to pick a side and put a bet on the match betting market in order to be honest. Is this a policy that is wise? It doesn’t always.

Betting match

Here you are asked to predict the outcome of a match. This market is available for every sport offered by bookmakers. In soccer, you have three choices. You can bet on a win for the home team, a win for the away team or a draw. It is important to note that this market is valid only for 90 minutes of play. In matches that require a winner (knockout stage), this market still exists, but it does not count in extra time and penalty shootouts.

Both teams score a goal

This is perhaps the second most popular soccer market that people bet on. It is a fun way to bet money because you are not asked to pick a winner. You simply hope that both teams will score a goal in the match or not. Teams that can keep a clean slate are often a good investment when playing against an un
