Ferguson, on the other hand, opted to detain him.

Rather of criticizing the Portugal international for his actions, Ferguson chose to focus on the positive aspects of the scenario.

“It’s fantastic that he wanted to continue,” Ferguson remarked.

“Now I’m responsible for Wednesday and Saturday. There isn’t any issue.” That same day, Ronaldo seized his tracksuit from the assistant kit man and threw it to the ground in rage.

And at the time, Dwight Yorke spoke out about the previous incident, calling the former Juventus and Real Madrid star ‘out of order.’
