Rodrigo hopes that Leeds will begin 2021 close to how 2020 ended

Striker Rodrigo hopes that the way they ended the last one, Leeds will start the new year. Leeds ended 2020 with two victories over Burnley and West Brom in the Premier League, the latter with a 5-0 scoreline.

After a 6-2 loss to Manchester United before Christmas, these results helped Leeds climb back up the table after a 6-2 loss to Manchester United. Rodrigo scored Leeds’ fourth goal in a 5-0 win over West Brom (Dave Rogers/PA) Marcelo Bielsa’s side now faces a difficult away game at Tottenham on Saturday lunch, but Rodrigo hopes the momentum can be preserved. “We want to keep this level for the next game and try to win. “When they defeated Newcastle 5-2 in early December, Leeds were still in a goalscoring mood. Rodrigo, who scored against both Newcastle and West Brom, is of the view that the way to go is to continue chasing goals. He said, “We didn’t stop there, we scored the first goal and kept chasing goals and that’s the mentality we have to have in these games,”
