RIO FERDINAND has pushed Newcastle United to assemble a nucleus of English players, citing Raheem Sterling, Declan Rice, and Jesse Lingard as suitable targets.
The Magpies were recently the subject of a high-profile £300 million takeover by a Saudi-led group, bringing Mike Ashley’s 14-year rule to an end.

Newcastle’s focus has shifted to who they can sign in the coming transfer windows, with Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand listing a number of players they should seek.
