Raphael Varane is moving closer to joining Manchester United…
Manchester United are said to be ‘on the verge’ of signing Raphael Varane, with personal conditions already agreed. After bringing in Tom Heaton and Jadon Sancho this summer, the Red Devils appear to be closing in on their third signing.
Adidas and Manchester United have unveiled their official 2021/22 home jersey, which features a modern take on the club’s traditional designs.
Varane’s arrival at Old Trafford is now expected as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer prepares to begin a Premier League title push.
Varane has been a target for the club since his time at Lens, when Sir Alex Ferguson was still in charge.
Varane, on the other hand, quickly became a fixture at the Bernabeu after completing his transfer to Real Madrid, where his combination with Sergio Ramos has been praised.
Now, Sport1 reporter Patrick Berger insists that the sale is nearing completion.
“Raphael Varane is on the verge of joining Manchester United,” he tweeted. On personal terms, the 28-year-old centre-back accepted to join #MUFC. Contract is valid through 2026.
“Now it’s up to the clubs to come up with a solution. Real Madrid is looking for a little more than €50. All parties are optimistic that a solution will be reached soon.”
All United has to do now is reach an agreement with Real Madrid.
Varane is understood to desire to attempt something new, namely the Premier League, in the Spanish capital.
