RANGERS striker Juan Alegria has piqued his fans’ curiosity with an update on social media that suggests he is close to a move in January.
The striker, who is currently under contract with FC Honka of Finland, has repeatedly been associated with a move to Ibrox. He could follow in Alfredo Morelos’ footsteps and move from his native Colombia via Scandinavia to Govan.
On Thursday morning, an update on Alegria’s Instagram account revealed that the 18-year-old was staying at the citizenM hotel near Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport – indicating that the striker is on his way to put the finishing touches on a deal.

Where Alegria will ultimately move to is not yet known, as he could stop over on a connecting flight in the Netherlands.
