Leon Balogun shows Allan McGregor’s push and determination to win the title with Rangers

The post has earned nearly 70,000 likes since Morelos posted the photos late last night.

At the top of the Scottish Premiership, the 1-0 win over 10-man rivals Celtic puts Rangers 19 points ahead.

The game could have ended differently had it not been for Gers keeper Allan McGregor’s three world-class saves – including a spectacular save when he aimed a Leigh Griffiths shot against the post – as the first half was dominated by Celtic.

But after an hour, Nir Bitton was sent off for taking Alfredo Morelos down, blocking the path of the Rangers striker to the goal.

And seven minutes later, Callum McGregor’s own goal meant that Rangers took the maximum points – and advanced ever more clearly in the title chase, even though Celtic had three games in hand.
