Psychic told Rebecca double decker to ‘do whatever it takes or you’ll die,’ according to the psychic.

Rebecca Wilkinson, a 28-stone mum, was told by a fortune-teller that she had no future, but it was the wake-up call she needed, and she claims the psychic’scared her into action.’

Rebecca Wilkinson flew to Turkey for a weight-loss surgery after receiving a dire warning from a psychic.

The fortune-teller told the 28-stone mum she had no future and urged her to “do whatever it takes… or you will die.”

Rebecca is now happy and healthy after losing over 16 stone thanks to a gastric sleeve and is retraining as a plasterer.

“The weight has dropped off me – it’s been amazing,” she said.

It’s completely transformed my life.”

Rebecca, 30, began gaining weight in her teens.

However, after becoming pregnant with her daughter Libby at the age of 18, she gained nearly 10 stone in just under two years.

She would frequently consume two takeaways per day, followed by chocolate and crisp snacks, all washed down with Lucozade.

“After years of failing to lose weight, I was desperate,” Rebecca explained.

“He scared me into action during a visit to my psychic.

“He claimed that the cards showed ‘no life’ for me.

“‘Do whatever it takes – go to the extreme or you’ll die,’ he also said.

“I knew I needed to do something drastic, and surgery was the only option.”

The news caused her to book a flight to Antalya, Turkey, in September 2020 for a private gastric sleeve surgery.

She had lost 16st 7lb a year after the surgery, which involved removing part of her stomach, and had slimmed down to 12st 5lb.

Rebecca, from Ilkeston, Derbyshire, was bullied as a teenager and sought solace in food.

“I went to an all-girls school and was severely bullied,” she explained.

“Because I was taller than the other girls, they nicknamed me ‘Rebecca double-decker.'”

“I ate in order to feel better.”

She wanted another child with her 16-year partner, Matt, 34, but was unable to conceive due to her weight.

Surgical intervention, however, has given her a new lease on life.

“I’m a plaster apprentice,” Rebecca explained.

“I enjoy taking extremely long walks, going out, and socializing in ways I never imagined possible.”

“I’m hoping that losing weight will aid my fertility and allow me to have another child.”
