PSG has put Kylian Mbappe’s dream Real Madrid transfer on hold because he feels deceived by the club.
PSG didn’t keep their promise about Kylian Mbappe joining Real Madrid this summer, according to Kylian Mbappe.
Kylian Mbappe is said to be dissatisfied. In the summer transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain failed to keep their word and turned down Real Madrid’s offers for his signature. Real was willing to match PSG’s asking price, but the Ligue 1 champions have decided to keep Mbappe for another season.
With PSG’s asking price of £188.9 million (€220 million), the 22-year-future old’s was still up in the air coming into deadline day on Tuesday.
Real was eager to pay for Mbappe before Tuesday’s deadline, according to Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol, but PSG refused to respond.
As a result, the two clubs ran out of time to reach an agreement, and Real is now set to sign the French superstar on a free transfer next year.
According to rumors in Spain, Mbappe is dissatisfied with PSG’s obstinacy during the transfer issue.
Mbappe reportedly hoped to reach an arrangement by Tuesday night after PSG gave him their word.
The teenage forward had hoped for a gesture that never materialized, and his “dream” had to be postponed for another year.
Mbappe, on the other hand, knew Real’s assurances were genuine because of the money they promised to sign him.
Despite the fact that PSG’s response was not what he had hoped for, he is unlikely to cause problems in the coming season and will instead concentrate on playing good football.
PSG essentially ignored Real in the last phases of the transfer window, according to Solhekol.
“The official position is that PSG will not accept the offer at this time, and Real Madrid will not enhance the offer,” he told The Transfer Show.
“Despite having 10 months left on his contract, Real Madrid has attempted to conduct themselves correctly by paying what they believe the player is worth, and PSG has largely ignored them.
“In terms of the player, he wants to join Real Madrid. He will not sign a new deal with PSG, but for the time being, the club has decided to ignore the offer and keep Mbappe.”
It’s not all doom and gloom for Mbappe, who is expected to have another successful season in France.
Between Neymar and Lionel Messi, he will be the main focus of Mauricio Pochettino’s attack at the Parc des Princes.
