Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe crashed his team’s press conference after they won the French Cup on Friday night.
PSG beat Saint-Etienne 1-0 thanks to a strike from Neymar in the 14th minute before their opponents were reduced to 10-men when Loic Perrin was shown a red card.
In the midst of the celebrations for the Ligue 1 champions, a jubilant Kimpembe broke into an ongoing press conference with a bottle of champagne.
Manager Thomas Tuchel, Thiago Silva and Marquinhos were all fielding questions from the French media but were abruptly interrupted as their team-mate began to soak them in front of the desk.
The defender made a special focus on Tuchel, who retaliated by throwing his jacket at Kimpembe as Silva and Marquinhos tried to get away from the partying 24-year-old.
After his manager runs out of the press conference, Kimpembe slams the huge bottle of champers on the table, raises his arms and hugs Marquinhos as the celebrations continue outside.
The French defender remained on the substitute bench for the match as he watched his team-mates win the club’s 13th French Cup.
Despite their happy faces, it wasn’t the best evening for PSG talisman Kylian Mbappe. The striker left the French Cup final on crutches after being the subject of Perrin’s horror tackle that saw the defender sent off.
The foul prompted a mass brawl on the pitch that led to six yellow cards being brandished as Mbappe sustained an ankle injury.
The Frenchman now faces a race against time for fitness with the upcoming Champions League restart just weeks away.
