Breaking Around

In their team, ST JOHNSTONE reported a second positive Covid 19 test.

At the turn of the year, the Perth side were struck by their first case of coronavirus and the affected player is still in isolation.

Today’s announcement means that for Saturday’s Tayside derby against Dundee United, Callum Davidson will be without two of his first-team players.

A McDiarmid Park statement read, “Today, the soccer club can confirm that a member of our playing staff has tested positive for Covid-19 and is now isolating himself at home. We wish him well as our players’ and staff’s health and welfare is always our priority.”

This is an isolated occurrence and no soccer club workers have had direct contact with the player.

We have contacted all relevant authorities to make them aware of the situation in compliance with all government and JRG guidelines, and will keep them all updated.
