Novak Djokovic weighs in on his 41st Grand Slam semi-final appearance at Wimbledon.

After defeating Marton Fucsovics in the Wimbledon quarterfinals, Novak Djokovic has advanced to his 41st Grand Slam semi-final.

After reaching his 41st Grand Slam semi-final at Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic claimed he would rather live in the moment than think about records.

Djokovic overcame Fucsovics 6-3 6-4 6-4 to advance to the final four, where he will face Karen Khachanov or Denis Shapovalov.

In the first set, he jumped out to a 5-0 lead, but the Hungarian fought back to 5-3. Djokovic was able to regroup and win the set.

He was set up to extend his run at the Championships with just a single break of serve in each of the second and third sets.

Djokovic’s victory has advanced him to his 41st Grand Slam semi-final and his 10th at Wimbledon, according to BBC reporter Rishi Persad.

However, the World No. 1 has stated that he wants to concentrate on the future rather than dwell on his prior achievements on the tour.

“Do you want to travel with me as my stat man?” Djokovic joked. Do you want to be my psychologist because you make me feel more confident? Thank you so much for doing so.

“I am aware of some statistics, and I like this sport with all of my heart, body, and soul.

“I’ve been involved in this sport since I was four years old. Things can appear bizarre at times, but I strive to stay in the now.

“Not that I try to take everything that happens on that court for granted. To me, everything is history, and I want to maintain it that way.”

Djokovic is seeking to match Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer’s total of 21 Grand Slam titles.

He can also clinch a Golden Slam if he wins the US Open later this year after a possible success at the Championships.

Djokovic was delighted with his performance and is now prepared to face either Khachanov or Shapovalov, who entered the fifth set just as Djokovic was finishing it.

Djokovic remarked, “I believe that was a solid performance.”

“I got off to a great start; I was pretty powerful in my game and didn’t make many mistakes in the first six games of the match. I was able to win the game 5-3.

“I suppose one break of serve in the second and third games was enough to win today.
