Mike Tyson has confirmed his return to boxing, with a fight scheduled for May.

In May, Mike Tyson will return to the ring.

Mike Tyson has stated that he will participate in another exhibition fight on May 29, but he has not yet revealed who his opponent will be. The 54-year-old announced that his fight will take place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, at the beginning of the summer.

When Tyson fought Roy Jones Jr, 52, in November, he broke a 15-year hiatus.

In an eight-round battle that finished in a draw, the two fighters traded punches.

Tyson stated after the fight that he intended to return to action as soon as possible, and he appears to be on track to do so.

On a podcast with Canelo Alvarez, the heavyweight legend revealed the specifics of his next fight.

On his Hotboxin podcast, Tyson said, “May 29th or something like that.” “You (Canelo) battled in the same arena.”

During their fight at Hard Rock Stadium last month, Canelo stopped Avni Yildirim in three rounds.

Meanwhile, 34 years after the historic bite, Evander Holyfield, 58, has just called out Tyson for a mega trilogy match.

Holyfield only retired in 2014, but he’s one of the favorites to face Iron Mike this year.

He wrote on Instagram, “Getting back in my rhythm just waiting on my dance partner now @miketyson to show up.” “Can you tell me where you are?”

Given his last encounter against Jones Jr., Tyson is hopeful the cobwebs are well and thoroughly gone when he returns to action.

“I felt better than I expected,” Tyson added. “I expected to be a little more nervous than I was, but I was completely unconcerned.

“I thought to myself, ‘Wow,’ I could do some more, punch more combinations, do this and do that.

“I said, ‘Wow, this is exciting, and I want to try it again, but this time against someone I can go all out on.’

“It piqued my attention and made me want to do it again. I didn’t want to knock anyone out, so I wanted to go the distance. People anticipated that, but I wanted to go the extra mile.”

According to the oddsmakers, former three-time world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis is also a possibility to face Tyson when he returns.
