Mauricio Pochettino’s reputation among PSG players is not good news for Manchester United.

Man United should be concerned about PSG players’ opinions of Mauricio Pochettino.

Manchester United are interested in Mauricio Pochettino.

According to reports, Mauricio Pochettino’s tactical coaching has left PSG players “unimpressed” since his arrival.

Following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Pochettino has been linked with the vacant Manchester United manager’s job.

However, this development may cause United to reconsider appointing the Argentine.

Pochettino took over as PSG manager in January after Thomas Tuchel was fired.

His first trophy as a manager was the Trophee des Champions, which he won quickly.

Despite winning the Coupe de France, his first season was a failure.

For the first time since the 2016-17 season, they failed to win Ligue 1.

Duncan Castles claims the PSG players like Pochettino as a person on the Transfer Window podcast.

His strategies, however, do not impress them.

“He is popular with the players in that extremely fractious and difficult dressing room; they like him as an individual, but they have been unimpressed by him as a tactical coach,” Castles said. “This, of course, contributed to their failure to win Ligue 1 last season, where he handled the majority of the games after Qatar decided to sack Thomas Tuchel.”

According to reports, Pochettino is considering leaving PSG in the middle of the season to take over at United.

The players’ assessment of the 49-year-old, on the other hand, supports Darren Bent’s assessment that he is not an elite coach.

Bent told talkSPORT, “I still don’t believe he’s an elite manager.”

“He has yet to demonstrate that he is an elite manager managing elite players.”

“He still hasn’t figured out how to keep Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe in the team and performing well.”

“He managed to lose the French league despite coming in halfway through last season.”

Pochettino is a fan of Bent’s, but he believes he would be a risky appointment for United.

“I like Pochettino; what he did at Spurs was fantastic; he took average players and transformed them into better players; he developed some of the younger players down there,” he continued.

“We were seeing some of Spurs’ performances, the way.”
