Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt has returned to pre-season training with his team-mates – despite having agreed personal terms with Juventus, according to Tuttosport.
The 19-year-old’s agent Mino Raiola has confirmed the Italian giants are set to seal the transfer in the near future.

While de Ligt has chosen Juventus – turning down interest from Barcelona, Manchester United and others – his current and prospective clubs are still to reach an agreement.
It is hoped the final transfer fee can be agreed before Ajax embark on their pre-season tour schedule next week.
When the transfer is finally confirmed, it will be bring to an end a long-running chase for one of Europe’s hottest young talents.
Having made his debut for the club at 17, de Ligt rapidly established himself as a first-team play and has made 117 appearances.
He featured in the 2017 Europa league final, and de Ligt then captained his side through their impressive run to the Champions League semi-final last season
