Marcus Rashford has celebrated reaching eight million followers on Instagram with a throwback photo of him as a kid.
The Manchester United forward is suffering from a back problem and has been spending time on holiday during his side’s winter break.
Rashford said on Instagram: ‘Smiles for the 8million. Thank you to each and every one of you for the support, it means everything. ‘Swipe ➡️ for the throwback.’
The throwback photo showed Rashford smiling when he was a child.
The Red Devils forward isn’t the only United player having fun on holiday as Aaron Wan-Bissaka posted a photo of himself feeding an animal.
Juan Mata and David de Gea posted a photo on Instagram of them finishing training with the rest of the United players in Marbella.
One player who did miss the training camp was new signing Odion Ighalo but he will be able to travel with Manchester United for their Europa League tie in Bruges next week.
Ighalo, a deadline day signing from Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua, was left in Manchester when the United squad flew to Spain on Saturday amid fears he would not be allowed back into the UK if border controls are tightened this week.
The Nigeria striker is among the travellers to the UK from China being monitored for 14 days, although he did not have to go into quarantine because he arrived from Shanghai not Wuhan where the coronavirus originated.
