Manchester United could lose their second forward as Leeds close in on a deal for Daniel James.
Daniel James, a Manchester United midfielder, is set to join Leeds on transfer deadline day.
According to rumours, Manchester United may loan Anthony Elanga out due to interest from Championship clubs. At Old Trafford, the child has a bright future. However, he could be on his way out on a temporary basis at a time when Daniel James is expected to join Leeds.
Elanga, 19, shone throughout pre-season for Manchester United, scoring in a 2-2 draw with Brentford.
The Manchester Evening News is reportedly reporting that he is desired by Championship clubs on deadline day.
It’s not clear who is pursuing the Swede, but there’s a good chance he’ll be gone by 11 p.m. tonight.
If that occurs, he’ll follow James through the exit door.
After failing to recruit Jadon Sancho, United signed the Wales international from Swansea in June 2019.
James got off to a good start with the club, netting three goals in his first four appearances.

After two years at Old Trafford, though, a parting of the ways appears to be on the cards.
Leeds have agreed to pay United £25 million for their wing wizard, who has started two of Leeds’ three league games this season.
Despite the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo has returned, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now willing to let James leave to one of their toughest rivals.
Ronaldo’s shirt number may also be revealed today, with the club aiming to give him the No. 7 jersey.
Edinson Cavani, who made his first appearance of the season against Wolves on Sunday, is currently wearing that shirt.
United, on the other hand, will seek special permission from the Premier League to give Ronaldo the shirt number he desires.
