Man United miss out on Eduardo Camavinga to Real Madrid, who are closing in on the Rennes star.
Eduardo Camavinga, a midfielder for Rennes, appears to be on his way out of Manchester United.
According to sources, Manchester United will miss out on signing Rennes prodigy Eduardo Camavinga, with Real Madrid ready to sign the midfielder ahead of Tuesday’s transfer deadline. Camavinga had been linked with a move to Old Trafford, but he is now thought to be closing in on a move to the Bernabeu, with the summer transfer window closing in only hours.
The 18-year-contract old’s with Rennes expires at the end of the season, and he has expressed little interest in staying with the Ligue 1 club.
Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Barcelona are said to have been following Camavinga’s progress in France in recent months.
According to Canal Mercato, he is reportedly likely to make a late switch to Los Blancos.
Real Madrid and Rennes are said to be close to finalizing a deal, with only a few technicalities remaining to be worked out.
