Man United may benefit from AC Milan’s talks for Arsenal transfer target Renato Sanches.

Renato Sanches, an Arsenal transfer target, is being pursued by AC Milan.

Manchester United may be able to sign AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie as a result of AC Milan’s alleged interest in Arsenal target Renato Sanches.

After three seasons with Lille, Sanches recently discussed his future, claiming that he was “ready” for a move to a major European club.

Last season, the 2016 Golden Boy winner was instrumental in Les Dogues’ Ligue One title triumph.

It’s been an incredible comeback for a player who has been through a lot since breaking onto the scene with Benfica.

In recent weeks, he has been linked with moves to AC Milan and Arsenal, and he has stated that he is “ready” for another move to a European powerhouse.

And if Stefano Pioli’s side can sign Mikel Arteta before United, it could clear the way for United to sign Milan’s Kessie.

United has been keeping a close eye on the Ivory Coast star’s progress for some time.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via SportsMole), Milan is considering selling the 24-year-old in January to avoid him leaving for free next summer.

Kessie’s current contract expires next season, and there appears to be no progress in contract negotiations between him and the club.

And, because the two midfielders are so similar, Milan’s interest in Sanches could be a sign that Kessie is on his way out.

In addition, in an interview with L’Equipe, Sanches mentioned both Milan and Arsenal as possible destinations.

“I was supposed to go to Barcelona this summer,” Sanches told L’Equipe.

“That’s why it all came crashing down with Barca.”

I’ll figure out what’s best for me.

AC Milan is a fantastic, historic club.

It’s all about the class.

It’s appealing to me.

“I don’t know if Milan and Arsenal are interested.”

I talked to my agent, and I know which clubs are calling and which aren’t, but I can’t tell you right now.

“However, I’m confident that I’m prepared.”

I’ll figure out what’s best for me if an offer comes in.”

Sanches, who is only 24, has already experienced as many highs and lows as footballers several years his senior.

Not after his incredible performances for Portugal at the 2016 European Championships.
