Van van Beek’s likely departure comes as speculations circulate that Raphael Varane and Kieran Trippier are close to joining Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.

Romano stated, “He will not be involved in the Varane trade with Real Madrid; it is not something they are discussing.”

Varane feels uneasy at Real Madrid following the resignation of manager Zinedine Zidane, and he has yet to sign a contract extension for his current term, which expires this summer.
