Man United has set a price for Jesse Lingard as West Ham consider a deadline-day transfer.
Jesse Lingard of Manchester United is still a key transfer target for West Ham.
According to sources, Manchester United value Jesse Lingard around £25 million, despite West Ham’s desire. Last season, the England international shone at the London Stadium. But, as the deadline approaches, it will be interesting to see what occurs.
Lingard was loaned to West Ham by Manchester United in January.
And the playmaker had an immediate impact in London, scoring nine Premier League goals and providing four assists to help the Hammers qualify for the Europa League.
West Ham has remained interested in the England international since then.
They have yet to make United a bid for the 28-year-old, who has started none of the Red Devils’ first three games this season.
United value their greatest asset at £25 million, according to the Manchester Evening News, with the player’s contract expiring in a year.
However, given the paucity of time to complete a deal, it is said to be “extremely unlikely” that they will receive an offer close to that amount.

West Ham may now consider other options.
Despite his price tag being the same as Lingard’s, they appear to be closing close on the signing of CSKA Moscow striker Nikola Vlasic.
United are delighted to keep the England international as they aim to win the Premier League for the first time since 2013.
However, numerous players may be on their way out of Old Trafford.
Daniel James is set to join Leeds United after coming close to joining the club in the January transfer window of 2019.
James was playing for Swansea at the time, but after the team missed out on Jadon Sancho, he ended up joining United a few months later.
