Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid is in jeopardy due to Zinedine Zidane’s decision.

Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid is in jeopardy, as Zinedine Zidane poses a problem for the PSG star.

This year, one of Kylian Mbappe’s biggest idols could make an appearance in Paris.

Zinedine Zidane, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, could make a last-ditch attempt to keep Kylian Mbappe this summer.

The arrival of Zidane at PSG would be bad news for his former club Real Madrid, who are set to sign Mbappe on a free transfer in July.

The 23-year-old’s desire to play for Los Blancos is well-known, and he expressed his desire to relocate from Paris to Madrid last summer.

PSG, on the other hand, turned down a £150 million bid and risked losing him for free 12 months later.

With Mbappe no closer to extending his contract at the Parc des Princes, that still appears to be the most likely scenario.

However, the arrival of a certain French legend could sway his transfer plans.

According to RMC Sport and Marca, Zidane will succeed Pochettino as PSG manager at the end of the season.

With Pochettino heavily linked to the vacant Manchester United manager’s job, Zidane joining the club would make sense.

The Argentine’s desire for an Old Trafford arrival appears to have strained his relationship with Leonardo, potentially leading to his departure.

However, it remains to be seen whether Mbappe will have signed a pre-contract agreement with Real by the time he is appointed.

Zidane is one of the primary driving forces behind France’s desire to wear the famous white shirt.

While Mbappe was making waves at AS Monaco, the ex-Real boss and Florentino Perez spoke to Mbappe’s family about a move.

And Zidane’s relationship with Mbappe could be enough to persuade the star to stay at PSG next season and work with him.

Mbappe’s performance levels haven’t dropped this season despite the widespread speculation about his future.

Despite Messi’s presence in the team, he has 18 goals and 13 assists in 25 games across all competitions, and he remains PSG’s main man.

His hat-trick in the Coupe de France against Vannes increased his goal tally to 150, making him the club’s third all-time leading scorer.

And Mbappe’s only goal at PSG is to win the Champions League, which he will almost certainly do this season.

If the Parisiens fail to do so again, and Zidane arrives later this year, he may feel there is unfinished business with one of his idols at the helm.
