Katie Waissel of the X Factor gives an update on her health after suffering a heart attack.

After being rushed to hospital with a feared heart attack earlier this year, the X Factor singer has released an update to her fans, thanking them for their support.

Katie Waissel, a former X Factor contestant, has provided an update to her fans following a heart attack.

Katie has been recuperating since the medical crisis and updated her Instagram followers on her condition with a photo from her house as she relaxed.

Katie, 35, is shown in the photo wearing a Holter Monitor, which is a wearable gadget that measures your heart rate and rhythm.

She expressed herself as follows: “As part of my continuous cardiac tests, I’m currently wearing a Holter Monitor. This device will record my heart activity for 48 hours when I wear it. Other tests will take place this week, but I’m taking it one step at a time emotionally.” The singer then revealed that, while she prefers to keep her personal life private, she had been so moved by her fans’ love and offers of assistance that she wanted to keep them informed.

She wrote: “Please know that, despite the fact that this is a personal medical issue, I have listened and responded compassionately to your inquiries and worries about possible causes and other issues.

“I want you to know that I fully aim to share my findings with you and hope to either provide you insight or peace of mind, to those that are seeking it.

“Until then, we must adopt an objective perspective and concentrate on remaining healthy, safe, and warm.

“I admire you all very much, and I thank you for generously joining me on this journey of discovery.”

Katie rose to stardom after appearing on the seventh season of The X Factor in 2010.

She thanked NHS staff for caring for her when she became ill earlier this year on social media.

Katie expressed herself as follows: “Let me tell you, I was taken by ambulance for a possible heart attack yesterday, and both the general and ambulance services at @nhs @ldn ambulance Watford were incredible.

“The ambulance call center told me there would be a wait, but an ambulance arrived at my door in minutes. The entire Watford staff is outstanding, and I am appreciative for your continued assistance!!’ Katie’s representative issued a statement at the time, confirming her status. It said: “As Brinkwire reports, an ambulance was dispatched to Katie Waissel’s North London home on Wednesday morning.
