Everton have reportedly been knocked back in their attempts to sign Juventus starlet Moise Kean.
The 19-year-old is one of the most talented teenagers in European football, having scored six goals in 536 Serie A minutes last season.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport’s transfer expert Nicolo Schira, Everton lodged a bid of almost £27million but it was rejected by Juventus.
Kean has also been linked with interest from Ajax this summer.
He has been capped three times by Italy at senior level, scoring two goals.
But he represented Italy at this summer’s European Under 21 Championship too.
Everton are in the market for an established forward to lead their attack.
Neither Cenk Tosun nor Dominic Calvert-Lewin made the position their own last season, when attacking midfielders Gylfi Sigurdsson and Richarlison were Everton’s joint-topscorers with 13 Premier League goals each.
