Juventus ‘plan fire sale with club hoping to palm off Aaron Ramsey, Alex Sandro and Douglas Costa’

Juventus are trying to offload Aaron Ramsey, Alex Sandro and Douglas Costa to Premier League clubs this summer, according to reports.

The Serie A champions are planning a huge overhaul of their squad. Gonzalo Higuain and Sami Khedira have already been axed and Blaise Matuidi left to join Inter Miami earlier this month.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italians are looking to palm off several players to clubs in England, starting with former Arsenal man Ramsey – with Juve looking for a fee of £22.5million.

The club are said to have had interest from Manchester United, West Ham and Crystal Palace but the Welshman’s £6.3million per year wages are proving to be an obstacle.

Ramsey had a frustrating debut season in Serie A with just three goals and one assist as injuries disrupted his campaign.

United are also reportedly considering a move for Costa with talks over a deal for Jadon Sancho yet to progress.

It was reported the club were considering the Brazilian, who managed three goals and seven assists in all competitions in 2019-2020, as a potential alternative to the Borussia Dortmund star.

Manchester City are thought to be interested in left back Alex Sandro. The 29-year-old was a regular for Juve last season with 41 appearances in all competitions.

Benjamin Mendy is currently the first choice for Pep Guardiola but the Frenchman has often been sidelined with injuries.

Juve are also reportedly looking to offload Federico Bernardeschi and Mattia Perin to Premier League sides.

Bernardeschi is another with interest from Old Trafford while Wolves are also said to be in the running for the midfielder.

Meanwhile, the Italians are hoping to sell goalkeeper Perin to Fulham for a fee of £11million.
