Juventus has responded to Barcelona’s request for Antoine Griezmann and Paulo Dybala to be swapped.
This summer window, Barcelona star Antoine Griezmann might swap places with Juventus striker Paulo Dybala.
According to sources, Barcelona’s request to swap Antoine Griezmann for Paulo Dybala has been rejected. The La Liga giants are seeking for a method to offload the France international. And it appears that Massimiliano Allegri’s side is uninterested in doing business.
When Barcelona paid £107 million for Griezmann two years ago, they thought they’d struck gold.
However, after scoring 20 goals last season, the France international has unable to live up to expectations.
Griezmann has never gone close to leading Barcelona to La Liga or Champions League triumph, and the club is looking to offload him now that they are in financial trouble.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that Barcelona was considering selling the 30-year-old in a direct swap deal in which Dybala would go the other way.
Barcelona has a long history of admiring the Argentina international, dating back to his time at Palermo.

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are not interested in trading their No. 10 for Griezmann, with the Old Lady insistent that Dybala will not be transferred this summer.
The Old Lady will have to keep an eye on their finances as well, especially given Cristiano Ronaldo’s weekly salary package.
And, while Griezmann would be a valuable acquisition for the Serie A giants, they are unwilling to allow Dybala leave for Barcelona.
Dybala’s contract with Juventus is set to expire next year, and the club is allegedly considering extending it.
They’re hoping that now that Allegri has taken over as coach following Andrea Pirlo’s dismissal, they’ll be able to get the 27-year-old back to his best.
