Jonathan Ross’ secret Hollywood movie role has been revealed, leaving fans of The Masked Singer in the UK perplexed.

Jonathan Ross revealed on the ITV show that he had appeared in a box office hit movie – and the audience was completely taken aback.

Jonathan Ross made a shocking confession on Saturday’s episode of The Masked Singer UK, which left fans completely stunned.

When host Joel Dommett, 36, took the stage to introduce the panel, he dropped the bombshell about Jonathan’s past in movies.

“It’s Jonathan Ross,” Joel exclaimed, referring to the star of Shrek 2 and Spice World the Movie.

Jonathan had actually voiced one of the Ugly Sisters in Shrek 2 in 2004, which many viewers at home were unaware of.

“Jonathan, you were in Shrek 2?” inquired presenter Joel, who seemed unconvinced.

Jonathan joked, “I played an Ugly Sister, I have no idea why they called me for that one?”

Fans were stunned when the panelist revealed the secret, and they flooded Twitter with their reactions.

“Wait, was Jonathan Ross in Shrek 2? Surely not,” one tweet read.

“Fact: Rossy is the better voice of the ugly sister than Larry King!” chimed in another. “And you can fight me! (hashtag)themaskedsingeruk!”

Another added, “Mind blown that Jonathan was in Shrek 2 (hashtag)themaskedsingeruk.”

Meanwhile, ahead of the show’s premiere, Joel confirmed in a chat that Jonathan is the one to watch this year, with his guesswork being the best of the panel.

“They’re really getting involved,” he said.

Jonathan has really stepped up his game this series, and this is his best series yet.

“Someone has flipped a switch on Jonathan, and he’s incredible. He’s making some incredible guesses, noticing some interesting clues, and he’s absolutely crushing it.”

“Everyone else is catching up to Jonathan,” says the narrator.
