Ji-Sung Park, a Man United hero, predicts Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s dismissal ahead of Watford.

The Premier League match between Manchester United and Watford will be managed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this afternoon.

Ji-Sung Park, a Manchester United hero, believes that the Glazers should give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer until the end of the season before considering removing him from his duties.

So far at Old Trafford, the Norwegian has presided over a tumultuous campaign.

And, ahead of today’s match against Watford, a slew of replacements have been linked.

Manchester United lavished transfer funds on Solskjaer in the summer, allowing him to sign Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, with the Red Devils having lost six of their last 12 games, it’s fair to say that the 48-year-old was having trouble getting the best out of his star-studded squad.

With Solskjaer in charge, comparisons to Brendan Rodgers, Mauricio Pochettino, Erik ten Hag, and Zinedine Zidane have been made.

Solskjaer, however, should be given until the end of the season, according to Park, who spoke to Goal.

“I believe this will be the defining season for Solskjaer as a manager,” the retired South Korean international said.

“I think he deserves credit for what he’s accomplished at United, and he deserves to fight for his job until the end of the season, but he needs to show he can go on after that.”

“He did a good job of restoring the old United spirit and culture to us.”

“Before him, we had world-class coaches like Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho, but it didn’t work out.”

“I believe United benefited from those experiences, and that they were a major factor in the decision to keep Solskjaer after the Liverpool and City defeats].”

“But the most important question is whether he can compete with Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp, and Thomas Tuchel, the world’s best coaches.”

Man United manager Zinedine Zidane is torn between two options.

After Arsenal’s win over Leicester, Arteta now has nine undroppables.

Messi retaliates against Barcelona for allowing him to play for free.

“As a result, I believe we should wait until the end of the season before making a decision.”

“However, if he can’t demonstrate [that he’s capable], it will be difficult for him to continue.”

Wayne Rooney, Park believes, would be an excellent manager for United.
